Our president, Stephanie Tudor was invited into Queensland Theatre to chat all things Arts, theatre and Arts advocacy with artistic director, Lee Lewis. Together they discuss how to encourage our young people to plan for a life in the Arts so that, through storytelling, they are able to use their voice to question and critically engage in the world around them.

The conversation highlights the ways in which the theatre can be exciting, challenging and change the thinking of our young people so that they’re empowered to approach the world with empathy and passion.

Lee and Stephanie also delve into the issue of making the Arts accessible and the revolutionary ways in which Queensland Theatre are opening their doors and inviting young people into the company so that they see the theatre as place for their expression of self.

This episode affirms and acknowledges the powerful impact of drama as it invites each of us to form an opinion, speak that out and frame into a story to be shared as way to engage in our society and how this important work begins in classrooms.
