It is a very busy time of year for all of us, with marking, reporting and all those comments to write! However, it is really important to take 20 minutes to visit the ACARA online survey to provide imperative feedback on the Draft Shape Paper of the Australian Curriculum: The Arts. Every response counts!

To assist you and your school in providing feedback, Drama Queensland has created a detailed response to the Draft Shape of the Australian Curriculum: The Arts. Through discussions and a variety of meetings with drama educators both locally and nationally, Drama Queensland has arrived at our response. In addition is the Drama Australia response and a brief one page overview of the strengths and issues of the Draft Shape Paper.

The draft Shape Paper outlines the direction for the development of the national Arts curriculum for years K-12, and following a 10 week national consultation period, all feedback will be analysed and used to revise the draft document before it is published as the Shape of the Australian Curriculum: The Arts.
